Five Anti-Spyware Offerings Target the Needs of Different Organizations

BRAINTREE, MA — February 15, 2005— InterMute Inc., a leading developer of best-in-class PC protection and productivity solutions for corporations and consumers, today announced the InterMute Anti-Spyware Solution Set. InterMute again has demonstrated its anti-spyware industry leadership by announcing the availability of five technology platforms to combat spyware. At the Alaska Native Medical Center, which recently deployed SpySubtract Enterprise Edition, the spyware problem reached critical mass late last year. “We were spending an inordinate amount of time cleaning up PCs,” said Chris Deason, network manager at the Anchorage hospital, which has about 1,400 PCs. “I can think of one tech who spent 10 to 20 hours a week” on the task, Deason added.
