Partner Program' Delivers
Anti-Spyware
Enterprise Solutions to VARs

28, 2005— InterMute Inc., a leading
developer of best-in-class PC protection and productivity
solutions for corporations and consumers, today
announced its Channel Partner Program. Launched
this past January, the Channel Partner Program
allows qualified value-added resellers (VARs),
corporate resellers, systems integrators (SIs)
and technology services/deployment consultancies
to resell two enterprise components of the InterMute
Anti-Spyware Solution Set: SpySubtract® Enterprise
Edition powered by CWShredder™ and SpySubtract
Rx.
InterMute’s program is
flexible, offers different levels of participation
and has been designed to maximize resellers’ potential
in the growing anti-spyware market, which is projected
to be at least $305 million in 2008, according to
IT research firm IDC (“Worldwide Spyware 2004-2008
Forecast and Analysis: Security and System Management
Sharing Nightmares,” November 2004).
Benefits of this program include
access to beta versions of products, ongoing product
and marketing training, direct technical support
as well as co-marketing opportunities. InterMute
offers a comprehensive program to provide partners
with the knowledge and skills they need to grow their

InterMute’s Channel Partner
Program provides resellers with:
- SpySubtract Enterprise Edition for internal use:
up to 500 seats
- Sales training: Partners hone their “best
practices” in the Reseller Sales Certification
Training to maximize their targeted selling
- Lead-generation activities in their geographic
territory
- Template for bimonthly forecasting
- Marketing collateral: solutions brochures, datasheets,
PowerPoint presentations, product demonstrations,
press releases
- Dedicated channel account manager
- Corporate reseller licensing of SpySubtract
- Special discounts for academic, government and
nonprofit organizations

Forrester Senior Research Analyst David Friedlander (“Client
Security Trends: Users Opt For Best-of-Breed Tools” Feb. 28,
2005).
