InterMute Integrates MySQL to Fight Spyware

Industry-Standard Database Enhances InterMute’s SpySubtract Enterprise Edition to Ensure Robustness, Speed and Scalability

BRAINTREE, MA — December 13, 2004 — InterMute Inc., a leading provider of best-of-breed Internet security and content filtering solutions, today announced that it has become an authorized member of the MySQL Partner Program and has integrated the MySQL database server into InterMute’s SpySubtract® Enterprise Edition software to provide robustness, speed and scalability.

SpySubstract Enterprise Edition was developed from the onset to embrace industry-standard architectures such as MySQL, which is an extremely widely used database with more than 5 million active installations. The end result enables a superior user experience by allowing IT administrators to conduct extensive MySQL queries for customized reports.
