Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0 is our new consumer stand-alone anti-spyware product. As a result of Trend Micro acquiring InterMute, Inc., SpySubtract PRO was renamed and dramatically improved to become Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0.

Am I eligible to upgrade?

All non-expired subscribers are eligible to upgrade to the new version. Note: SpySubtract is a 12 month subscription. If you purchased more than 12 months ago, you are not eligible for a free upgrade.

How do I upgrade to Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0?

The upgrade process is simple. Download the new version, and run the installer. Make sure you enter the same email address that you used to register SpySubtract. Do not uninstall SpySubtract - the new version will replace your existing SpySubtract files.

The upgrade is free to all non-expired subscribers.

Are the features I became comfortable with still available?

None of the existing functionality will be lost in the new version - however many of the features
have been improved to perform better.

Do I have to upgrade now?

No, but you are encouraged to do so. The new version only supports Windows 2000 and XP.
If you are running an older version of Windows OS, then do not upgrade.
